About Amy
Amy Young is the Principal Broker and Owner of Valley Roots Real Estate. She grew up in Independence, Oregon, the second youngest of six children, and she still calls the valley home. Amy began her real estate career in Portland in 2002, and today she helps buyers and sellers throughout Salem, the surrounding Willamette Valley, and the Portland area, from first homes to acreage and view properties.
Clients describe Amy as honest, knowledgeable, and someone who goes above and beyond. She looks past the online photos, gives straight answers about a property and its price, and keeps every transaction on track from the first showing to the closing table.
Family means everything to Amy. She is the proud mother of two and grandmother of three. She lives on acreage outside Independence with her husband and best friend, with her mom close by. When she isn’t working, you’ll find her baking, cooking, growing flowers and food, and caring for animals. She dreams of a small farm someday with a Highland cow, a donkey, goats, and dogs.
